Years ago, HTML sitemaps offered a clear SEO benefit to websites. They made site crawling easier for search engines and helped to distribute PageRank. XML sitemaps have long been a more accepted practice to encourage search engines to crawl URLs. But is there any SEO benefit to be gained with HTML sitemaps today.
